For example, MSS recently found that an electronic repair process in a Western Tennessee company not only had the physical location of incoming parts fail to agree to its reported location through its many stages of repair, but there were also overlaps and voids in ownership of the various stages. After all process flows were made congruous, the actual location of the parts was always known with its correct status and ownership. Absenteeism no longer had a negative effect on the company’s operations.
